1. Make sure your Leapster 2 have SD Card [ONLY for Leapster 2 which have SD CARD Slot. If your Leapster 2 DON"T have SD Card Slot, it is OK to buy this game].
2. Make sure your Leapster 2 can connect to PC using LeapFrog Connect.

FAQ: Where is the slot to install the SD card?

The slot for the SD card is inside the battery compartment. It is directly across from the hole the battery cover screws into.

The Leapster2 will overwrite any existing files written on your card from another device.  Be sure to use a new card or a card with data that can be erased.
**Note: This question and answer is not applicable to Leapster2's that come with a built in SD card.  Leapster2's with built in SD cards do not have an accessible SD card slot in the battery compartment. Please see below picture, and note that there is a screw, this version does not need an SD card as it is built in.**

Below is how to insert the SD CARD in SD CARD Slot for Leapster 2:
1. Make sure the card is in the following position:

3. Your Leapster 2 should now read your card.

FAQ: How to Get ALL 4 Starter Games For Leapster 2 for FREE

When you bought your NEW Leapster 2, LeapFrog will allow you to download ONLY ONE (1) starter game from LeapFrog Connect. You'll NOT get the other 3. So, to get the other 3 for FREE, you need to buy another 3 Leapster 2 Console. Make sure that you download different game for each one.

So, when you have all the DIFFERENT games for each of your Leapster, only then you can transfer each of the games to your PC and transfer them back from your PC to your Leapster 2.

FURTHERMORE, you need to buy SPECIAL EDITION Star Wars Leapster 2 to get Star Wars Games, SPECIAL EDITION TOY STORY 2 Leapster to get Toys Story 2 and so on... Some of them has been provided by Leapfrog by chance...

FAQ: Why doesn't my Leapster2 respond to the stylus pen?

Please note that the below FAQ is for Leapster2 units only.
If you have the Classic Leapster System please see below.

If your Leapster2 does not respond to the stylus pen, it needs to be calibrated.  
Calibrating the Leapster2 is easy:
1) Ensure that a game cartridge is not inserted in the Leapster2
2) Hold down the Hint (?) button while turning the unit on. Continue to hold the Hint button down until the LEAPSTER2 menu appears. Remember that you need to hold the "Hint" button down the whole time while you are pressing the power button, and releasing it.


3) The LEAPSTER2 menu will show the options Base Info, Cart1 Info, Cart2 Info, Cart3 Info, and Touch Calib.  If you do not see this menu after powering on the Leapster2, turn the Leapster2 off and repeat steps 1 & 2 until you see the menu.

4) When the LEAPSTER2 menu screen appears, press the A button on your handheld.
5) Using the stylus pen, touch each of the crosshairs that appear
6) Restart unit

For Leapster 2 Classic Unit:
If your Leapster does not respond to the stylus pen, it needs to be calibrated.
The following are instructions for calibrating the Leapster™ handheld.
(1) Insert a cartridge, turn the unit on and wait for the sign-in screen to appear.
(2) Hold down the Home, Hint and B buttons simultaneously.
(3) When the screen changes, press the A button.
(4) Using the Stylus, touch the center of the targets.

FAQ: How do I remove a player profile from our Leapster2?

Note: You can only delete a name when all three name slots are filled.
To delete a player profile, go to the player profile screen and press and continue to hold down the following buttons in sequence:

1. Home
2. A button
3. Left arrow
Then, touch the X icon that appears at the bottom of the screen and follow the audio instructions:
